It's been a while since I've done a solo episode, and there's a lot to catch up on! I changed my last name, for one - literally the day I recorded this with Jen.I've got a weekly newsletter - it's not long, and it's not a sales pitch - literally just keeping in touch. Social media algorithms are wonky, and are not our own, and I would definitely miss people if we lost them! I deleted my Facebook account because I was seeing less of what I wanted it for daily.I want to buy a farm; I attached a Substack that woke the dream I've had for over 20 years toward the bottom here, but this is something I've wanted to do since I was in my 20s, and now I feel called to reimagine and make it happen. I'm looking for suggestions for funding, since properties are ridiculously expensive now, and looking for people to farm WITH, and for properties to consider - really wanting New England, where I belong... I brought my friend Jen Ross along with me because she has an excellent podcast called The Agritourist, and I've learned a ton from her and her guests, and have gained so much inspiration - I HIGHLY recommend it (link below for Spotify)!
